78' fuel injected 2.0L Wont Run Right

Hi all!
I'm new to aircooled VW's, and seemed to have hit a problem. I purchased a 78 Westy, and am working on the EFI 2.0L. I had the head rebuilt, and put the engine back together, and then installed it back into the bus. I seemed to be going ok, but I just started it up for the first time, and I cannot get the thing to idle correctly. The engine will run, but then a loud screech, or squeak, happens, and the engine stalls out. It's kind of hard to describe, but I posted a video to youtube,it may help explain my issue. Heres the link:

If anyone has any ideas or tips, it'd be a huge help. I don't know if its a vacuum leak, or timing issue, or something much worse.

Some background on the engine: compression is good, valve clearances are good, new injectors, fuel pump giving proper pressure, new fuel pressure regulator, points are gapped correctly.

Thanks everyone!

It would be helpful if you can check and see if that is coming from the intake. It certainly sounds like it. If it is coming back thru the intake, then there may be a slight pulse of air out of it.

Also, what were you seeing with the timing light?

What happens if you rev the engine ever so slightly?

Given when you posted, you have probably solved the problem.
