Ok, it looks like I'm back in this. Today I left work early and pulled the motor between rain showers.

I found the problem, and it's not bad considering.



When the incident happened, it sounded like all hell broke loose, but that was not the case. The head definitly needs machine work and a valve, but with an expected completion date of Tuesday the 6th, plus I have next Saturday to put the whole thing back together and in the car, I will be ready for NASA.

As far as how the tin screw got in there, we can all draw our own conclusions.

There was TWO green cars in the final!.. Wayne Axford broke out in the final.  The track was fair at best but, thats usually the case with the front wheel drive cars.  I believe there were 8 cars that made it out today. Fun times!!  except After everyone left I found that my motorhome had a flat on the inside rear tire. I have been having the worst luck with thires on this thing.
