Firing on three cylinders at idle

Hello everyone,

Here is my question. My 1835cc with a new single IDF44 is only firing on three cylinders at idle but fires on all 4 above idle.I have a good spark, good compression, good valve gaping and no leaks. Whats a guy to do? Have you ever heard of creating a slot in the inlet manifolds between the two ports at the point where inlet manifold connects to the engine? This was suggested by a friend of mine. And do you have any other suggestions?
